Unknown Agonies with Prayer Examples

By Coleen | March 31, 2010

Have you ever had something in your heart that you knew was not right but it did not seem like a big deal so you just let it ride along?

Have you ever felt the tugging from our Lord to release it and confess it? This is a great week to bring all those to the surface and be set free of the little nagging or big deals that keep slicing away from our freedom with our Lord Jesus Christ.

I know firsthand how powerful it is to do just that. These last few months have been very challenging for our family. Our construction business has been very slow and it has been a challenge to get our new business going from first to second base. But, one thing we did as a family was make sure 247 prayer was with our everyday life.

I let go of what I had been keeping inside of me and brought it to this person. WOW, let me tell you, the flood gate literally opened up, the next evening we had some incredible phone calls.  Our drought has stopped and we are once again receiving rain to water our bank account and crawl back out.

There is a great prayer example in 2 Cor. 9:15 that speaks of the gift that Jesus did for each one of us.  It says “thanks be to God for the unspeakable gift.” That gift is the precious act of Jesus Christ sacrifice for each one of us. He suffered so He knows exactly how each one of us feels and what we are going through. We have NO way of knowing the joy He gives to each and every one of us that were bought with the unknown agonies He went through.

247 Prayer Is A Key To Unlock Power

By Coleen | March 30, 2010

There is a key that will open up peace in our minds and hearts when we are in the midst of the most violent storm and fierce battle!

That key will even keep the evil spirit out and give us triumph, glory and victory over our storm and battle that we are in. 247 Prayer is all that is required to tap into the Almighty power of Jesus Christ. Jesus laid down His life for each one of us so that we are FREE!

Just ask and each one of us can walk on the road called the Holy Way!

When you stop, ask, search and knock loudly, Jesus our defender will remove the violent storm and the battle each one of us are in and even the most timid of us will live in perfect peace.

I quote this prayer examples in Psalms 23 all the time, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Only goodness and faithful love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord as long as I live.”

There is no way any of us can comprehend the love that Jesus Christ has for each one of us as He made Himself the sacrificial lamb.

This is where faith and 247 prayer comes in, ask Him to let His love infuse each one of us into our everyday living and lead us to practical manifestation of His power!

You mean I can stop my irritation & getting mad with prayer examples?

By Coleen | February 26, 2010

Have you already gotten upset as you were starting out this new day? As you look around your own circle of life, who irritates you or makes you mad by them coming across your path? When you got into your car this morning to get on the road to life, did you get mad?

Irritation 247 prayer prayer examplesHave you ever really read and thought about the great prayer example in Nahum 1:3 “The Lord is slow to anger but great in power.”

“A man who has a strong mind can bear to be insulted for a long time, and he resents the wrong only when a sense of right demands his action. The weak mind is irritated by little things, but the strong mind bears irritation like a rock that does not move, even though a thousand breakers dash upon it and cast their pitiful malice in spray upon its summit.”

I love this quote from Charles Spurgeon, Morning & Evening.

God’s power restrains Himself, which is a huge power indeed. When God sees His enemies, He restrains Himself and does not unleash what He could do when mankind upsets Him greatly. He refrains from unleashing His magazines of heaven and zapping us from off the planet of this earth. Likewise we as mankind can have the same help that God uses to control His anger.

When I am confronted with insults and anger and bad treatment from other humans, do I stop and connect into the powerful omnipotence of God and use that power He gives me through the Holy Spirit to have a strong mind?

When I respond with a weak mind and get irritated and frustrated and mad at my fellow human then I have failed to call upon the great rock that will make me great in power of God!

Ouch, as I start out today I am tapping into that great power through faith and the Holy Spirit to connect up to Jesus Christ and all that He has promised, with 247 prayers. I am putting on the armor of “Faith” so I may repel the insults and irritations and push them right back at the enemy.

Try it; what do you have to lose? Your job? A husband? A son? A daughter? A friend?

OK this is where you use the prayer examples to put it directly into your day right now! Stop and say this 247 prayer so you will not go out without your armor of Jesus Christ.

Lord clothe me with the shield of faith so that I may be able to extinguish the flaming arrows of insults, anger and frustration that others are sending at me right now, show me how to be slow to anger and great in power just like You and what You have promised to give to me through Your Holy Spirit. Eph. 6:16 and Nahum 1:3

P.S. OK, I was able to practice  my own prayer right after I wrote this post! I walked outside and discovered the dogs water dish was very dry! Did this little thing lrritate me? You guessed it!   BIG TIME!   BUT, I stopped and asked Jesus Christ to stop that irritation and shield me with faith and please give me “Your power” to go on! I was able to use this as a teaching moment and have a strong mind like a rock that is not irritated by this little incident! All we have to do is ASK and this power will be given to each one of us ! ! !  Try it ! ! !

Travel on a superhighway where no one cuts you off with prayer examples?

By Coleen | February 22, 2010

Are you tired of traveling those crowded freeways that are bumper to bumper, where people are rude, they cut you off and it takes you 3 times as long to get to your job during rush hour?

Is it hard right now to just keep ahead of life with this hard economy? Believe me I know how that feels. I have had plenty of opportunity to use the prayer examples to remove the stumbling blocks that keep littering the superhighway that leads to the road called Holy Way!

I am going back to the prayer examples in the bible and using 247 prayer to lift up the many different examples that fit the things that are going on with my daily schedule. God promises to remove those stumbling blocks and will always love and pardon me each time by the covenant and blood of Jesus Christ.

I could not believe this scripture when I read it in Isaiah 35:8 “A road will be there and a way; it will be called the Holy Way.” It goes on further in the same verse to say that the evil one will not be allowed on this road called “Holy Way.” It is for me as I am pardoned of my sin and ask for help that I will be allowed to travel on this special superhighway road called Holy Way!

As you read this scripture, put yourself on this superhighway in your special car that God provides for you called “Faith” and believe the promises that He gives you in the many different prayer examples of the bible. Because you are righteous you will live by faith. Rom. 1:17

Keep your vehicle on the superhighway called “Holy Way” and let Jesus Christ remove the rude drivers and bumper to bumper traffic as you have faith to touch his robe to be made whole or faith as a mustard seed when sown grows taller than all the other vegetables.

That superhighway is there for each one of us to get on each day we get up and go to work, we just need to make sure we get on the right ramp that leads to the “Holy Way” superhighway with 247 prayer.

What? Plan For A Successful 2010 Year Using Prayer Examples and 247 Prayer?

By Coleen | February 8, 2010

Are you bold enough to plan for the most prosperous year of your life? No? Why not?

OK I know it is already February 2010, but how many of you are a little behind like me?

I am still digesting the last half of Jer. 33:3 “God do Great & Mighty Things Through Me!”

You have to make the initial effort in order for God to do Great and Might Things with you. I know when I wake up tomorrow morning, God is not going to get me dressed, fed and out the door for work! Yet, is that how you ask God to help you? I know I am  guilty of asking for God’s help when I have not done my part! That is why I am reviewing last year and planning for 2010 which is already here!

I can only grow by getting a vision and seeing the possibilities for my life for 2010 and beyond. It takes planning and 247 prayer to see if that is where I want to go and if that is what God has in mind for me.

When you go on vacation, do you walk out the door and expect God to get you there? Is God going to make your reservations for the airplane, car & hotel? And pack your bags for you? Is He going to pay all your bills before you go and hold your mail?

Psalms 65:11 ”Let God crown this new year with His goodness so that our ways will overflow with God’s blessings. v.2 You are the one who hears our prayers, bring us out to abundance! “

The prayer example I am using to get a vision for 2010 for myself is how God took the Israelites into the promised land in the book of Joshua. He told them to be strong and courageous, for He was distributing the land He promised to their fathers to give them as an inheritance!  Joshua 1:6-7 He goes on further in verse 9 and tells Israel “Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

I have some big plans for this year and yet there are some incredibly huge walls standing in the way with this hard economy! My human side says that is too hard! I don’t have the skills to break down that barrier! But, when I use 247 prayer to cry out to God  I know He hears everyone of my requests! As I start to believe and build my faith in God’s promises by reading the prayer example of how He conquered the city of Jericho for the Israelites, I know with God I can leap over that wall and with His guidance I can break through those barriers in front of me ! ! ! ! ! Psalms 18:29.

Oh No, a broken leg and prayer examples using 247 prayer, Huh?

By Coleen | January 18, 2010

No, I did not break my leg .  .  .  .  .  but, my son did!

Do you like the camouflage cast?

Do you like the camouflage cast?

I just felt like I broke my head! Have you ever had something happen to you and then your brain just stopped working! No matter what you did nothing got done!

I realized real fast how important it is to take care of myself and my families health! I am was in the process of tweaking some health issues with myself and thought I had it under control until the broken leg incident hit my plate! YIKES! I snapped under the extra stress!

I am happy to report, I finally have a handle on life, at the moment! I kept thinking about what I have been trying to blog on Jer. 33:3. I am commanded to pray, and when I do, He will answer me, and guess what . . . . He also promises to do things greater than what I can imagine I can do!

I received sooooo much encouragement with one of my favorite authors, Charles Spurgeon, when he wrote about Matt. 7:7 “I say unto you, ask, and it shall be given unto you” I realized the first thing I am commanded to do as a believer is to believe His word! OUCH! Ditch the pride!

I had to quit dreading my own littleness and wondering how this is going to work with my son laid up. He went from going 100 mph to literally sitting in the chair or bed or hobbling around on crutches! Boy, talk about an adjustment for him! ! ! !

Our whole family cried out for HELP ! ! ! ! ! Not just once, but quite a few times. If you read the rest of the scripture it not only tells us to ask, but to seek earnestly and knock loudly, how about banging on the door so loud Jesus feels you might break it down! Jesus has already proved the power of prayer! Read one of the many prayer examples in Heb 5:7 “Jesus was heard because of His reverence.”

Our family believed in His name and felt our faith grow many times over because our prayers were offered from our heart and soul and Jesus promises they will not fall to the ground unanswered! It was not just the broken leg that we were crying out for help, that was the icing on the cake! We cried out and petitioned in Jesus Christ’s name and by His authority He said He will give us answers.  It was January 11th and I got three answers to some of our requests. January 12th my husband came home and told us 1 more answer to our requests.

My son has readjusted incredibly and he is doing things he would have never stopped long enough to pursue if he had 2 functioning legs to run on! Leave it to them to come up with some genius creative ways to use a crutch! I will keep you posted on some of his antics.

Charles Spurgeon helped me to understand the prayer example in Matt. 7:7 so I could use it in my own family.

“If I ask, I will have, and what more did I ask for? But if I seek I will go further and find, will enjoy, will grasp, and will know that I have obtained. As I knock I will go further still, for I will understand, and the precious request will be opened. I will not merely have the blessing and enjoy it, but I will “comprehend with all saints what is the length, and width, height and depth of God’s love.” Eph. 3:18 using 247 prayer.

I know some of you are going through some challenging times and I pray that I can show you by my life’s examples how incredible the power of prayer is!

Prayer breaks down doors we could never imagine possible and takes us in places where our Lord can show His mighty power through each one of us who become His humble servant.

You Mean God Can Do Great & Mighty Things With Me with 247 Prayer & Prayer Examples?

By Coleen | January 2, 2010

247 prayer prayer examples doorAre you at a point right now in your life where nothing is working? Is every door closing in front of you before you can even get a foot through it?

We have come to the close for 2009 and now 2010 is here! How would you like to experience “Great and Mighty Things, which you knowest not?” Jer. 33:3

Have you ever sat down and looked at your life and tried to figure out what was working well and what was not working in your life?

Are you at your ideal weight? Are you happy with your spouse? Are you satisfied with your job? Are your kids doing well in school? Are you happy with the money you have set aside for retirement?

Ok, so those things are not going well? Did you have to take a huge cut in pay to keep your job which you don’t like and now you are struggling to pay the bills? Are you and your spouse not getting along? Did you break your leg and now you are laid up for 8 weeks? Are you having to move to another state to take a job and now you will be far away from your family and friends? Are your investment and retirement funds fading faster than you can blink your eye?

Wow  .  .  .  .  .  .    Life  .  .  .  .  .  .  .   It can get in the way sometimes, ONLY IF we let it.

I cannot tell you the different twists and turns my life has taken in 2009! Some great, some painful, some exciting and now it is for the record books!

I am looking back on 2009 and going over what I did and making plans for where I think God wants me to be in 2010. My husband, son and daughter are doing the same thing. We made a commitment to build a family business. That means we need to know where we think we should be for this coming year in order to be successful. God is expecting me to make an effort on my part. He is not going to do everything for me. Do you think God is going to take your bath for you and put your clothes on each day you get out of bed? I sure hope not! But that is how some of ask God to take care of us.

Prayer will only do soooo much, God requires us to do our part before He will let us know how He is going to answer our 247 prayer requests.

This is where the last part of Jer. 33:3 verse comes in .  .  .  .  .  Plan ahead and see where you think you should be this new year! Go ahead make big plans! Reach way past your own ability and might! God says He will do greater things than anyone of us can even imagine or know of! When we send up our plans through the power of the Holy Spirit, we allow Christ to put a strong grip on us and what is impossible with us is POSSIBLE with Christ !  !  !  !  !

I have always read over this scripture and said, “that is nice and fine and dandy, but why is it not working for me?” Paul says in Phil. 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”

When I read in Matt. 6:25 don’t worry about my life, what will I eat, what will I wear, isn’t life more than food and body more than clothing? Why should I plan for the future? When God says to live for today?

Check back in and see how I am using pray examples to take Jesus Christ with me each day in 2010 as well as build a successful family business with the power of 247 prayer.

Are You Kidding . . . . Use 247 Prayer To Ask God Help Me Find My Car Keys?

By Coleen | December 24, 2009

247 prayer lost keys prayer exampleJPGGod says He will answer me when I call out to Him in earnest prayer! Does that mean when I lose my car keys to send up a prayer to ask God to help me find my lost keys? Do you still do that? The last time you got stuck in traffic and you were running late, did you send up a prayer for help? When was the last time you woke up in a foul mood and your day started to go downhill from there? Did you stop and cry out to God to lift you out of that mood before you yelled at your spouse, your children, your dog, your cat and then drove like a maniac all the way to work?

Was there a time in your life that you would pray over anything? Here are several examples – I have asked my Lord many times for a great hair day when I wake up and it is hot, humid, muggy and sticky! When I remember to do that, I have a lot better hair day! Lately I have been asking for help in staying away from the sweets with the holiday time here! I even ask during the day when I get that sweet craving! When I remember, I am successful in staying away from them! It sure is helpful in not letting the waist line expand!

Our Lord knows the things we need before we even ask of Him, Matt. 6:8. He also knows every hair on our head and there is not one sparrow that falls to the ground without His consent, Matt. 10:29-30. When you get into the habit of taking everything in your life to God, you are asking for God’s aid, assistance and help in what you need to accomplish! And when you ask with Faith knowing that God will open the right door it is even more exciting as you see which way He will direct you! This is an incredible way of going right to the top to get answers to your prayers!

One thing that has really helped me in lifting up prayers for things I need in my life is to ask, “not my will be done but Yours, be done.” Luke 22:42. I am learning that if I ask that God’s will be done it puts me in a frame of mind to be more receptive to the way my prayers will be answered. When I ask in a humble submissive way I know that my Lord will give me what is best for me, not what I think is best. Also it shows God that He has an obedient servant and I can be used for His purpose.

See, what is soooo incredible, when we ask that His will be done and we learn to have faith to let it go and let God do what He knows is best for each one of us .  .  .  .  .  we open up soooo many possibilities. The last part of Jer. 33:3 says “I will show you great and mighty things which you do not know!” You see, if you take care and work with the mighty implement of prayer, there is no limit as to where God can take you! Check back for the next post and see how that can happen in your prayers using prayer examples with 247 prayer.

Use Of Prayer Examples That Show How God Answers Prayers

By Coleen | December 21, 2009

2009.12.20 prayer examples keyholeIn the second part of Jeremiah 33:3 God tells us that He answers us when we call out to Him in 247 prayer.

Jesus gives us the model prayer in Matt. 6:9-13. He said our Father know the things each one of needs before we even ask Him, Matt. 6:8. Whoa! To me that means when I ask Jesus for a particular thing I need in my life, He already knew it before I put it before Him in prayer.

In Matt. 21:22 Jesus tells me that if I believe, I will receive whatever I ask for in prayer! In verse 21 He even goes so far as to say that if my prayer and faith is strong enough I can tell the mountain to be lifted up and thrown into the sea and it will be done! WOW!

In Psalms 55:15 I am to call unto my Lord in my day of trouble and He will rescue me!

There are many prayer examples in the bible that tell us what God promises for each one of us. When I begin to doubt, waiver or question God’s word then I am telling God He cannot take care of me. OUCH!

When the morning sun rises and begins to shine upon my yard, I open the blinds so I can see the light as it beams down upon my yard and shines through my window into my house. God is the same way with us. If we want to see the answers to the prayers we lift up to Him, we have to open our blinds so He can let His light in. Prayer is the key that opens the blinds. Charles Spurgeon says, “A praying breath is never spent in vain!” Did you remember to open your blinds or shades or curtains this morning? If you didn’t then God is having a hard time letting His light shine into your house!

Start today by giving God thanks for every little blessing you have in your life right now! Did you eat this morning? Give thanks to God for your breakfast! Did you have a bed to sleep in last night? Give thanks to God for your bed to lie down and get rest! Did you take a shower or bath in the last 24 hours? Thank God for the running hot water to get clean! Are you on your way to work? Give thanks to God for that job!  Are you married? Give thanks to God for your spouse! Yes I know it is hard for some of you to do that .  .  .  .  but do it anyway !  !  !  !  Do you have children? Give thanks to God for every child you have! If you have a child that is not doing very good right now, give thanks to God for that child and thank Him for the opportunity to lift him/her up in prayer for the future that God has for them. Each one of us has an opportunity to let God’s word shine through everyone of our children that God blesses us with no matter where they are right now!

If we do not hesitate to   ASK  .  .  .  .  SEARCH .  .  .  .  .  KNOCK .  .  .  .  then there are sooo many mighty things that God can do in each one of our lives. Check back to the next post and see how you can surrender your prayer requests to God and see His will be done

How Can Prayer Examples Give Us the Key To Answered Prayers?

By Coleen | December 14, 2009

heaven key 247 prayer prayer examplesDid you realize that we are commanded to pray? God says to, “call unto Me” in Jeremiah 33:3! I was reminded of this scripture lately as I was recovering from my computer going out on me! How many of you find yourselves giving time and energy to making a living and then wonder where the time went to give any time to God? I don’t know about you but I need to be told to give time to my Gracious God. Do you think pride can get in our way to prevent us from going voluntarily to God and ask for help?

So much time and energy seems to go into our daily lives that maybe we might start thinking what profit is there in praying and seeking the Lord? I really identified with this analogy of comparing our worldly ledger as being so busy and bulky that we cannot move it over to the Bible, representing devotion to God. Is our Bible ledger soooo small that we can put it in our pocket! Hours for our worldly life! Moments for Christ!  OUCH – what does your ledger look like between your worldly day and your devotion to God?

There is no greater need than right now to lift up everything in our lives in prayer to God. Nothing is too trivial a matter to bring before God. What is going on in your daily life right now? Is it good? Then praise God for that. Do you need help with your child? Are you Sick? Did you get laid off from your job? Is it not going good between you and your spouse? A prayer example in James 4:8, We are commanded to Call Upon God! Draw near to God and He will draw near to each one of us.

It is our right to come and pray to God. We are to come boldly unto the throne of heavenly grace. How do you do it? Just start talking to God wherever you are, you don’t have to be on your knees or in a private area. Just lift up your voice to God and He will hear you. I have a nice Bose stereo system in my car and when my son or daughter are driving they love to hear how nice it is. I rarely turn the radio on when I am driving. That is one of my favorite times to talk to God using 247 prayer. It also helps me to be a Godly driver and not an angry driver. It’s amazing how fast and safe the errands go when I do this.

My husband never gets in a vehicle without praying before he starts the car. A fews years ago he went to run an errand in his brand new truck, he only made it to the end of the block before he was hit. He was waiting to turn and our neighbor turning onto our street was rear ended and pushed right into my husband’s new truck! It did a lot of damage to all three vehicles and he was hurt.

As we journey to the next stage of our business there are soooo many things that come along that are real easy to just do them and work through. I was reminded of the prayer example in Jeremiah 33:3 that I am commanded to pray to God about each little step of this journey .  .  .  .  .  .  check back in and see how God promises to answer our prayers we lift up to Him! Find out how a praying breath is never spent in vain!  WOW !  !  !  !  !
